Anybody got eth3 working? I tried to connect it with Turris Omnia with SFP+ direct attached cable and while Omnia sees the cable, MACCHIATObin is just dead, without any message in serial console about interface going up or down.

I have the same problem, in ubuntu my 10G ports are always in “UP” state, but the switch does not recognize them being plugged in. the 2.5G plug is always in “DOWN” state, but the switch sees it plugged in.

Did you ever figure it out? For not I can only use my 1G port, kinda silly.

Same problem here, tried to recompile kernel to latest available per instructions, same thing.
It seems that U-boot does not sense the link on eth0, eh1, & eth3 either.

Did you get any answer on this?
    Thanks

Managed to activate ports at 1G by doing:
    ethtool -s eth0 speed 1000

But the same doesn’t work with speed 10000. It seems that the ports are hard-wired to 1G.
    (It’s a single-shot board)
