I have managed to install Debian Buster on Macchiatobin (double shot) after compiling UEFI EDK2 and booting with this.
    # uname -r
    4.15.0-2-arm64

    Only eth2 is working.

    ls /sys/class/net/
    eth0 eth1 eth2 lo

But when cables are attached to all interfaces
    cat /sys/class/net/eth?/operstate
    down
    down
    up

Is it possible to use the other NICs (eth0, eth1)?

Also I have installed a 1000BASE-T SFP Copper RJ-45 transceiver in the eth4 cage but this doesn’t seem to be recognised.

I can’t try the marvell compiled kernel kernel (4.4.52-17.10) because I can’t get it to boot using UEFI it freezes at:
    EFI stub: Booting Linux Kernel…
EFI stub: Using DTB from configuration table
EFI stub: Exiting boot services and installing virtual address map…

    Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem, did you find a solution?

I cant even get anything but the 1G interface to work in U-Boot.
